Sophomore Year
Research on Neuro-Ocular-Ogrophy
January 2015-May 2015
10 hours a week
I have always had a strong passion for Neuroscience. taking on this significant experience was such a blessing. My objective was to measure eye direction through electrodes attached at six sights around the peripheral of the eyes. I developed some amazing findings and it gave me first hand exposure to neuroscience research. The work that I did in this lab really jump-started my true passion for neuroscience. I took this motivation and asked my self continuously what else can you do to evoke change? How can you be a better person? How can you save lives ?I learned simple lessons such as being prompt and being self-sufficient. These skills I shall take with me throughout my journey in medicine.
